Here is a list of registries and clubs which recognize and manage the Tamaskan breed.

The Tamaskan is recognized and managed by a few registries and clubs. The Tamaskan Dog Register was the start of the registries, which over time certain clubs decided to split off and become their own registries to help manage the breed better in their respective countries.

American Rare Breed Association

The American Rare Breed Association or ARBA is a national dog association of the United States, based in Cheltenham, Prince George's County, Maryland. The club was formed to register, show, educate and promote the breeding of uncommon dog breeds.
The Tamaskan dog was recognized by ARBA under their Non-sporting group as of 27th of November 2013. Only Tamaskans registered with the Tamaskan Dog Register are eligible to participate in ARBA Dog Shows.

One of the official registries for all Tamaskan, worldwide. The register was established by a number of enthusiastic breeders in 2006 with the aim of promoting and enhancing the breed. The aims of the register are promoting and raising awareness of the breed, raising the profile of the breed, maintaining breed standards, being a source of information and advice about the breed, as well as holding records, health and DNA information for all registered dogs.

The NTCC is dedicated to promoting and preserving the Tamaskan Dogs of Canada. They encourage anyone who owns or is interested in the breed to become NTCC members where you stay informed of up coming events and membership fees, helps pay for club shows and get-togethers. Assembled and established in 2016 by a group of those interested in maintaining the Tamaskan breed in health and standard. Breeders are required to conduct the necessary health testing and follow the breed standard set forth according to the old Tamaskan Dog Register standard.
